I wrote the first article on the research for my project ‘Our craft is our heritage’.
Starting with the basketry skills of the Roma community in Europe I am presenting contemporary artisans, artists and designers who modernise this craft.
These include, among others: Esmé Hofman (NL), Rachel Frost (UK), Maia Ștefana Oprea (RO), Mariana Buruiană (MD), Maddy Arkesteyn (BE), Amandine David (BE), Joris van Tubergen (NL), Dan Vezentan (RO), Rachel Evans (UK), Toderașcu Artizan (RO), Crafts Council and Andrianus Kundert (NL).
My whole research will also be published in the newspaper ADZ (RO).
