True Beauty
Graphic design of the exhibition True Beauty – Where art meets science. The exhibition shows a selection of the most beautiful images in 21st-century science. Photos, visualizations, and animations by international top-level researches are interspersed with the works of artists who draw on science to inspire them.
The starting point of the visual identity for the exhibition is a system of tags. The tags are used in the titles of the artworks on the wall and in the accompanying catalogue. This small, handy booklet is given to visitors free of charge at the beginning of their route. It contains photos and a detailed description of all artworks.
The exhibition was shown at the Stedelijk Museum Breda (NL), 2018.

“Scientists do still view things through microscopes and telescopes even in the 21st century, but they primarily use computers and software. They process information to create images of ‘invisible reality’. As such, science and the visual arts become intermingled.”
