Development of a new product identity and information design for the Dutch telephone directory De Telefoongids. The new visual system is realized in a design migration over several years.
As a result of the merge of the Dutch telephone directory and the Dutch yellow pages, the directory had to be redesigned again in 2008.
The navigation design is renewed and a new searching chapter is developed.
The information design and complex modular system had to be customizable for 45 different regions and realized for a total of 7,7 million directories.
The overall navigation concept is based on the functionality of a search engine and the usability of a simple interface.
